Nikon or Cannon??

I am trying to figure out whether I want a Nikon or Cannon camera.According to something investigations,Cannon would be a little bit better.But for me,I prefer Nikon to others.My uncle is a big fan of professional photography.He had already taken a large number of high quality photos.Nikon was the most cameras was chosen when he took pictures.Maybe I should believe him cuz no one else could show me something to prove Cannon is better.Anyway,we'll see.I will make this big decision in a few day...
